www.beyondthefraypublishing.com As last week came to a close, I finished looking over the contract for the book publisher that I will be working with for my future and previous titles. I signed the contract and sent it off to the publisher, I had the feeling of achievement emanating from being. I took the time to reflect on my journey and all the teachers that have helped me get to the place I am currently at. Thinking about the people along the way that told me, “you're crazy” and did support my dream. The conversation I had with my new publisher was amazing and everything I hoped it would be. They seemed really excited about what I was writing and enjoyed the book I submitted. In the days after my phone interview, I found myself driving on a highway and I felt a nudge from the spirit world. As I was driving along the highway, an eighteen wheeler cut over in front of me. The usual reactions one gets to having a close call, did rush through my mind. It was in that second of giving the driver a piece of my mind that the logo of the truck caught my eye. There along the side of the truck was the word “EGO”. The message to me was to celebrate your accomplishment but don’t let ego into your life. Wayne Dyer explained that the word ego’s meaning was “edging god out”. It’s ok to reflect on your success but don't let that ego driven mindset change your perspective. I feel that we encounter synchronicities and signs from spirit almost on a daily basis and it’s up to us to be aware of these subtle nudges.
Do you know how your life will change when you open your mind to the possibility of a reality of life beyond death. To know fully in your being that death is not the end but rather the next stage of our souls journey. Our journey in this lifetime is just one stop along the way of our spiritual path and soul’s learning. Those that have gone before us, never truly leave us. Just as the caterpillar turns into a beautiful butterfly and the lotus flower starts on the bottom of a body of water and climbs upward towards the light. Death is not the end, just a transition to a different plane where all souls arrive. The law of conservation of energy states that energy can neither be created nor destroyed, it just changes form. God is energy and so is our all the divine souls incarnate and discarnate. We are all connected and will always be connected.
I have recently heard an analogy that really helps explain how our loved ones on the other side know we are thinking of them. The author wrote it’s almost like posting a photo on Facebook and tagging the person in the photo and alerting them to the memory being shared. The other person is notified and then is given the opportunity to observe the post and comet if he or she wishes. When we think or speak of someone that has made the transition known as death, it’s like a phone call to the other side. It’s like a soul to soul call that spirit is very aware of. Our loved ones are never truly gone and in their time they can still comfort and reach out to us on the earth plane. It’s important to pay attention to the subtle signs from spirit, music, art, books and even the symbolism we encounter in our daily lives. Death is not the end. A new year and a chance to transform yourself in the year to come, each day that unfolds in this new year it’s up to you to nourish your soul. It’s not about looking at the 365 days ahead but instead taking each day and living for that day. Wake up with gratitude and apparition for the giving day. Start by taking a deep breath in and exhaling and asking God how I can serve you today. Walk in the light instead of darkness and when negative thoughts or ego driven thoughts come into your head, ask yourself what does my soul need. Take time throughout your day to simply be. If you can help lift anyone up during the day, do so with a simple complement or act of kindness. Remember that you are a soul having a human experience, the words of Saint Francis of Assisi still ring true from ages ago. Lord make Me an instrument of Your peace Where there is hatred let me sow love. Where there is injury, pardon. Where there is doubt, faith. Where there is despair, hope. Where there is darkness, light. Where there is sadness joy. O Divine master grant that I may Not so much seek to be consoled as to console To be understood, as to understand. To be loved. as to love For it's in giving that we receive And it's in pardoning that we are pardoned And it's in dying that we are born... To eternal life. Pay attention to your soul, you are a physical being and a spiritual being. One of the ways I try to connect with the source and quite my mind is through nature, some call it intuitive walking. Let the daily thoughts of life out of your head and let your soul connect to the natural world. Slowly let the sounds of nature and your awareness become one. This is very grounding and vital for your physical and soul nourishment. We are primarily spiritual beings made up of vibrating energy. Our energy can be depleted by individuals and happenings in our daily life, it’s very important to try and live in the positive and feed our souls. As we embark on another yearly journey in our lives, try to be soul conscious and focus on each day and be mindful of our impact on those around us. It’s all about living a more soul driven life and connecting with our true self. Francis could not have said it any better, In giving of ourselves that we receive. Happy and Healthy New Year |
