The New Jersey Paranormal Project and the Rockaway Township Library

The New Jersey Paranormal Project and the Rockaway Township Library hosted a seminar on Ghost Hunting & Communicating with Spirits. The event was a huge success, attendees learned important aspects that make up an investigation and the technology that is used to document evidence. It was such a pleasure to share our stories and chat with everyone who attended, said founder and team lead for the NJPP Richard Moschella. Having my fellow team members with me Kim the Ghost History Medium and Marci Keck, really helped cover all aspects of a NJPP investigation. We hope that this could become a regular meeting at the library and have many more of these conversations with people interested in the topic of spirit communication and afterlife research.

In NJPP investigations, spirit has validated our historical findings or even used our radio devices to directly reply to our questions. We do not have personal experiences with these spirits but with the proper research we can go into these locations with the right information to document the experience of spirit communication. We also have devices that can be manipulated and activated if they choose to make their presence known. It’s important to us as investigators that we have a diverse toolkit to establish the communication process.

As investigators, we have heard historical terms come across our spirit radios during investigations. These responses have matched up to the time period we are investigating. Other times we have gotten names that have also matched historical figures that were at the location or on the lists of deaths that we keep with us while investigating. 

The research process starts out for a NJPP investigation weeks before the full team arrives. One of the first steps for the team lead is putting together a historical timeline of events that happened at the location. This is also the case with a private home that a client would have us investigate. We need to know what has happened in the immediate area. If any events of significance to the activity we find have transpired, it helps in the investigation. 

It’s so important to find that place where historical and paranormal come together. That’s our job as investigators to come in a bit skeptic to the accounts and use our tools and intuitive abilities to validate if it’s paranormal or not. It’s a very rewarding feeling either way to help people understand this field and let them know they are not alone.
